ARSL Peer Mentorship Program
The Membership Committee is thrilled to have launched the brand-new ARSL Peer Mentorship Program! This program strives to match seasoned library professionals with newcomers to the field, or those who are looking to take their next big professional step. The connections, networks, and relationships forged through mentorship can last a lifetime, and are an integral part of the success story of so many library leaders.

2026 Peer Mentorship Cohort
The 2026 ARSL Peer Mentorship Program began in January 2026 and will conclude in September 2026. Dates and detailed program requirements have been shared directly with matched participants.
Successful participation as an ARSL Peer Mentor or Mentee requires:
- Adhering to the ARSL Meetings, Events, and Activities Code of Conduct and (as applicable) the ARSL Virtual Meeting Space Use Policy.
- Filling out a mentorship agreement with your matched mentor.
- Responding to feedback requests from the ARSL Membership Committee and/or ARSL Office.
- Communicating with your mentor on a regular basis.
- Meeting regularly with your mentor/mentee (the formal mentorship period will last seven months, and participants are expected to meet at least once per month to facilitate a meaningful connection).
