Join us for ARSL's TRAIN (Training, Roundtables, and Informational Networking) series! Each month, we offer online workshops, roundtables, or networking events designed to support and connect library professionals.
All registrants receive access to the TRAIN recording after the session. TRAIN programming is planned by ARSL's Continuing Education Committee.

Presenters:
Brandi Lomax serves as Circulation Clerk and Adult Programming Coordinator for the Starkville-Oktibbeha County Public Library System. Drawing on her background as a copywriter, she combines marketing expertise with a passion for public libraries to create engaging programs and outreach efforts. Brandi has led successful adult reading initiatives and campaigns that connect patrons with library services and encourage lifelong learning. She believes libraries are vital community spaces that foster connection, opportunity, and growth.
Trenton Smiley is the Director of Customer Messaging at hoopla, where he leads stratey focused on helping libraries connect more effectively with their communities and drive engagement across digital collections. An award-winning library marketer, Trenton brings extensive experience working with both large urban systems and small, rural libraries, giving him a unique perspective on scalable, high-impact marketing and outreach. He is also the creator of the Library Marketing Makeover initiative and serves as a member of the Association for Rural & Small Libraries (ARSL) Marketing Committee.
